"Ah, good ol' Carella Drive." Mia breathed out huskily as her and her latest beau, walked up the dirty skid-marked pavement, his arm wrapped around her shoulder breathing in the scent of her hair. Mia lived and breathed this place. It was all she knew when she first got to LA. The only place that accepted her as 'one of them'. An outsider. A mogul. A hoodlum. Fitting in here was always pretty easy. Grab a beer, smoke a cigarette, and act like you know all about the cars, and your in. Not to mention having a tasty guy hanging on you all night wasn't a kryptonite either. Mia had class when it came to this place. She knew what she was doing, when to do it. Not once was she rejected here, which is why she sticks to it like a mosquito. It's always been her safety net. But after the whole gang-related thing, she's steered clear of this place. As well as everywhere else. Getting into another situation like that would be no good. So after sitting inside for a good 5 months, getting back into the swing of things felt good. Just like being her old self, at Carella.
Mia giggled as the guy she came with held her close to him. He was definitely the most tender guy she'd been with in awhile. Relationship wise, Mia had matured. Going steady with someone was a big step for her. But as for the drinking and drugs, it was no constellation or help at all. Mia sat down on the hood of a car with her man, her tight capri's fitting snug, her gray camouflage cami fitting flatteringly, showing off a bit of her stomach. Her long blue and black hair fell gracefully along her back. And of course her gaudy jewelry covering her from head to toe. Mia looked so much better than a few months ago. She was still scary skinny- but her color had returned to her glowing cheeks. Mia sipped at her beer listening to the gathering group around her talk and laugh, as she laughed as well. Man, had she missed this place.
Mia tipped down her big brown sunglasses to look over the top of them, scanning the area for people she knew. It was rare and very seldom that there was no one but strangers here. She always knew someone here, somehow. To her surprise, everyone seemed a bit different. Seemed to be talking and looking at her at the same time. Had she built up a rep? What were people saying? Mia had never even thought about what stories people had concocted up about her. People could distort the truth and either make her to be a dirty skank or a town role model. Eh, she could fit into either one around here. The whispers continued, and Mia felt like all eyes were on her. She broke free from her boyfriend, and walked over to her brother who was, as always, being an idiot with his friends.
Mia and Derek had grown closer than they'd been before. They didn't necessarily hate each other anymore but they weren't best friends. After all- are siblings supposed to be? Mia bit down on her lip staring down Derek. She knew, if anyone, he knew what people were saying. She also knew he wouldn't;t try to defend her. Never did. "What the hell are people saying, huh?" She asked quietly, but still with force. "What, that I killed Josh? Trying to pin it on someone else besides YOU. the one that actually did?" Mia said even harsher, narrowing her eyebrows and crossing her arms. This wasn't going anywhere good soon.

After that little incident that happened back at his house, say a good five months ago things never ever felt the same. Derek had been to court more times than even OJ had. It was all a pretty big mess that never seemed to get resolved, even now. Derek’s name still wasn’t cleared fully of things. It just so happened that Nick the guy that had raped his sister died, once he got to the hospital. Derek still didn’t really think it was his fault the guy died. If he wouldn’t have raped his sister none of this would’ve ever have started. Nick just happened to cross the line and got what he deserved in Derek’s mind. However being here with his friends once again at Carella reminded him of the old days. He liked those days. Not caring about anyone but your self kinda thing it was great. He really just needed to get out of the house and away from things. Especially his house, where he killed a guy, Derek had been out of the house though to like go to court and he’d even been in Jail for a little over a week, but they happened to let him go. Good behavior? Most likely and because the court system is so fucked up that they really couldn’t prove that he did it. You wonder how come? Well not really that much evidence and all those people at the party were drunk, so they couldn’t testify against him. Considering they weren’t in the right state of mind then this had happened.
Derek hadn’t been to this place in a quite along time. So it was good to be back in other words. He noticed Mia come in along with the pussy of a guy she was dating. Mia actually dating? Yeah I know shocker right? Well it’s true, how she found a guy like that he never wanted to know. But hey along as she was happy he was happy. He still worrid about her a lot with the drinking and the drugs of course. If this guy even actually cared about her, he would also be worried not helping her along with it. Feeding her addiction, and yes to him it seem like she was addicted to drugs and drinking. To her she probably thought she could stop anytime she wanted. He shook his head clearing his mind, as he took a drink of the beer that just happened to be in his hand. Listening to his friends talk about hot girls and what not like they just normally did. Sometimes Derek would just happen to listen to what they were saying and then other times he’d just space out on them.
As afraid as Derek knew there were things going around the people about what happened that night at there house. People always talked and you couldn’t help that. Just natural mostly girls than guys. Guys just don’t really give a fuck to tell you the truth and Derek was one of them. He could careless what people around here were talking about and making up there own little versions of what happened. But he knew Mia didn’t like it, I mean who does like it when people talk about you and it isn’t even the whole truth. Derek didn’t mind if any of it was about him. But about his sister….ick that could get ugly. It seemed it had already started as he looked around seeing people talking all the while looking at Mia making it seem and probably was talking about her. Derek saw her leave prince charming what a fruit and come over to him. Taking a drink of his beer, looking up at her, and then over to his friends as they just all stopped talking and listening to what she was saying.
Derek turned his head still looking away from her. His light brown eyes fixed on the cement that was below his feet. How could she say all that shit? “I don’t know, why don’t you ask them yourself…”He said calimly still not looking back up at her. Sure yes in the past few months they had gotten a little bit closer but ever since she started going out with fancy pants sitten on the car, she’d been acting different, weird not her self like. “Why don’t you go back to prince charming and leave me alone.” He said his head turning looking back up at her with a very small smirk on his face. Still not making eye contact with her, Derek turned back to his friends who just gave him the weirdest look, but he didn’t say anything just took another drink of the beer that was in his hand, considering it was almost gone. His friends still like his sister well all of his guy friends did, but they never even thought of messing with her again, seeing what he did to Nick and all. They didn’t what that to happen to them.

Personal rehabilitation. Peh. What a joke. Mia had tried to keep herself clean for as long as possible, but through her own trials and tribulations failed. Who was she kidding? She was like a kid addicted to some sort of TV show. Yes, addicted. Mia never thought she was addicted to anything. She knew in her mind that if she'd wanted to stop she'd done it long ago. She didn't want to stop. She had no intention of doing so. Drugs were her sanity. They kept her at ease with herself for awhile. When off them, it was like she'd be better off in a sponge room somewhere. Mia knew Derek hated her habits. He always had. But Mia never changed herself for others. Never. And Derek was never going to be an exception to that rule. No matter what he did, said, or pulled she'd never give in to any pressure to change. Never.
Mia rolled her eyes as he gave a dumb smart-ass reply. "Oh yeah Derek... I'm just going to waltz over there like a fucking idiot and ask 'Hey, what are you saying about me.' I'd most likely get shot. And you know it." She shot back with a small tip of her head, looking back at the slowly diminishing group of people she was sitting with a while back. Mia didn't even flinch at the remark about her boyfriend. "Than why don't you go over to Leslee-Rottencrotch and tap at her. Stay out of my business, jackass." Mia shot back again, trying her best to defend herself. Leslee was the dumb blonde cunt that Derek always had a fancy for. Mia couldn't stand her primpy nasty little ass. She didn't even care that Derek's freeloading friends were near either.
This whole situation was making Mia's head spin. If people were blaming the death of Nick on Mia, why? Who had started the whole thing? Had they not known Derek had already gone to trial for everything? This made no sense. Someone out there hated Mia for something. And they were trying anything to make people hate her. Of course, Mia couldn't prove this. But it was a gut feeling. That feeling of knowing someones trying to screw you over... but who? Mia cleared her throat and turned Derek's head toward her with her own skeletal hand. This was not over. "Stop avoiding me. Just because you don't like my boyfriend doesn't give you the right to be an asshole. I need to talk to you. So move on." Mia just had to get that out of the way, let him give his side, than continue on. She had to get to the bottom of this.

No matter how hard Derek would try and get her to stop, with the drinking and the drug use. He knew it was a waste of time. Who was he kidding Mia never was going to change, not for him or anyone else. Derek knew that, doesn’t mean that he wasn’t going to try and get her to stop. What was the point….though she was hard headed and would do whatever the fuck she’d want to do. That’s the thing he kinda really didn’t like about her. That she’d do whatever she’d want to do, and that’s when she’d get her ass into trouble. Of course, he’d do his best to get her out of whatever she was in. After a while, it just kinda gets old, and causing him not to want to do it anymore. But he always did, didn’t he? Yes he did he was always there for her…basically when ever she needed something.
Derek shrugged listening to what she told him about walking over there and getting shot. Yeah that would probably happen knowing the people around here and how they treat one another. “Look it’s not my problem that people are talking about you…”He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Derek just shook his head once again. God why did she care soo much! Its irritating really who cares what people say, they’re gonna talk no matter what you do. Mia had brought up Leslee in this conversation, he didn’t care though every one knew that she was a slut, didn’t really matter to Derek though that she was basically a walking STD you could say. Apparently Mia didn’t give a fuck that all of Derek’s friends were around, well she never did anyhow. Taking the last drink of his beer and setting the empty bottle on the concrete.
“You call that thing a boyfriend?” He said looking over at the pathic excuse for a boyfriend he’d ever seen. “You know you can do much better, right? Or am I just talking to a brick wall again…” Meaning that she probably wasn’t gonna listen to him about her awesome boyfriend. Derek found out stuff about that guy, that’s why he didn’t like him, but hey he isn’t gonna tell Mia to brake up with him, because he knew that she wouldn’t anyways. Once again, her being heard headed.
“Alright then, so talk.” He said looking back over at her. “I’m listening…”He said calmly. Derek had no clue what she wanted to talk about considering he’d seen her yesterday at the house, and they really didn’t talk much to eachother then. So what could she be wanting to talk about? Hell he didn’t know.

Closing her eyes for a brief moment, Mia sighed and gently pressed her fingertips over her eyelids. Why did she even bother coming over to talk to him? He knew how to shut her down, make her feel like and idiot, and want to go into hibernation for the next few weeks. Of course, having been indoor for so long, that wouldn't be the usual case. Mia just hated the fact that everything wasn't good enough for her standards. That she could always do better. Hearing that always made her cringe. What if she was HAPPY with what she had? Why did she have to try and fuck it up by going to better? Derek was always confusing in that sense. Always was. Nothing was ever good enough for his little sister. And frankly, that pissed her off a great deal. "Well Derek, In a sense it is your problem. You're involved in that scenario too you know." Mia spat out crossing her arms. God he could be arrogant and cocky. It wasn't that she cared so much, but more that he seemed to care so little. About everything. Mia took pride in things. She took things personal and when situations were unfair, she made sure to try and fix them. But not Derek. He was always "go with the flow". Pathetic in her eyes.
"Stop bringing my boyfriend into this. I told you to drop it." Mia scoffed angrily, trying to ease off that low blow he'd just given her. "I just-" Mia started out, but groaned and raised her hand up. "You know what? Forget it. Have fun with your friends." Fuck it. He was drunk, with his friends, and being even cockier than usual. She decided to just piss on it. Mia walked off back across the black asphalt, her flats tapping in a rhythmic beat as she clicked along. She tried to ignore the stares coming from all sides, but could feel their eyes tearing holes through her skin. What was up with these people? Mia scoffed again and pulled out her cell phone. Screw this. She'd find someway to have fun tonight if it was the last thing she did. She began to text on her Sidekick...
HANNAH: Get your cute little ass in my presence. We're having a night on the town. xo- Mia

Derek sighed, listening to her speak, “Yes I know it is my problem.” He told her, glancing back up looking at her. “I’m not stupid…” He bit down on his lower lip, looking away from her. “But I don’t really care if people talk about me. Like you seem to.” Derek looked back seeing the looks his five friends sitting around him, were giving him. He shook his head looking down, and sighed once more. Derek really didn’t mean to be like this. For one he was somewhat drunk he had an anger problem which didn’t help. Derek how ever would never flip out on his sister though, sure they would get into fights but never physical ones. He’d never ever hit her, but if he did he wouldn’t know what to do with himself. He’d hate himself sooo much. Trying to keep that anger inside of him not wanting to let that take over his body or his mind, he grabbed another beer. Not the best thing to do, he knew that but hey he was already on the way of getting drunk, why help it along some.
Rolling his eyes at the comment she made about her boyfriend. He didn’t like that guy at all. Nothing not a thing, but then again Derek never did like any of the guys Mia dated. She hadn’t at a boyfriend in god knows how long and just all of a sudden bam! heres one. Derek could remember her every first boyfriend it around the seventh or eighth grade. She really really liked him, but then the guy just broke her heart or at least that’s how it seemed. So Derek taught him a lesion never brake his sister heart again or he’d brake your arm. Listening to Mia talk, once again. Shaking his head watching her just walk away as he sipped on his beer, god he always does something to make her mad, thing was…he never really knew what he did. Sure he had a guess, but sometimes he just had no clue. So he would just let it go, let things work themselves out. .::end thread for Derek::.

Hannah, who had been in the shower when she received Mia’s text message, she been busy these lasts few months. So she hadn’t really seen nor talked to Mia much. She had heard what happed with her brother Derek, and everything. It just kinda shocked her really, when she had met the guy he seemed alright. Normal I guess you could say. Hannah had been going through some stuff also. Her father had passed away two months ago, and Hannah was one of those ‘Daddy’s little girl’ type thing. Her mother was a bitch to her, and she didn’t really know why. But she was. Her dad though was always there for her, when ever she needed him. No matter what. Over those passed two months she’s been going back and forth from here to Nevada. It got really tiring for her but she put up with it. Her family was crazy what do you expect, but right now she was back her to her second home. She really loved living here, meeting all kinds of different, exciting people. She loved it! Hannah walked out of the shower grabbing a sea-blue color towel wrapping it her small wet body. Awhile picking up another towel using it to dry her hair some, so it wasn’t soaked. She opened up the bathroom door to get some air into her bathroom, so it wasn’t steamy and hot. Then getting out a hair drier to dry her hair. After that she took some hair spray and styled it some just so it didn’t look like she just got out of bed or something.
After that she walked into her room with the towel still rapped around her body. Looking through he dresser, finding a slim-fitting tee-shirt that was a purple-greenish color. Along with a nice pair of dark, yet somewhat faded jeans. Getting out of her towel and getting dressed, she walked over to a small table beside her bed getting out a pair of earrings putting them on, along with her necleses and braclestes. She sighed laying back on her bed she still need to put on make-up but really she didn’t seeing the need to. She wasn’t plaining on going anywhere. What was the point. Hannah sat up, walking out of her room and into the living room/ kitchen. Truning on the tv noticing her phone was going off. She picked it up opening it up looking at it, seeing she had a new text message. It was from Mia, long time not talk. Reading it a smile came acrossed her face.
Yesss ma’ma :] Where shall I meet you?? <33

Mia didn't really care that Hannah asked to meet her. She knew she'd just end up driving over there and walking right into her apartment. That's what she usually did, anyhow. Not that Hannah ever seemed to care. Mia walked back over to her boyfriend, said a quick goodbye, got into her car, and drove off down the rode to Hannah's apartment. Mia pulled up into parking lot and got out, walking up the steps to her floor. Mia opened the door, poking her head in and saying "Boo!" in a freakishly low tone, making her sound like some sort of child molester. Mia stepped inside and shut the door behind her. "Hey there kiddo." Mia said in a happy tone, giving her a small hug, grinning. "Long time no see I reckon." It had been a long time since Mia had seen Hannah, so she was rather glad to finally get to talk to her. "So right to the chase. Where you wanna go?" Mia asked bluntly with a small smirk, knowing that tonight would be one hell of a time. Or so she hoped.
Mia didn't intend on getting Hannah into trouble tonight. Mia still felt bad for getting her caught up in all that shit a few months ago. Mia never intentionally meant to hurt people. It was always an involuntary thing that happened. She hated it, but it always seemed to happened. Now, she wasn't planning on a innocent school girls' night out either. But she wanted try and keep herself behaving well enough to keep Hannah out of trouble. She owed at least that much to her.

Hannah was sitting one the couch when Mia poked her head in the door saying boo. Kinda freaked her out at first, because she hadn’t seen Mia there and just hearing that voice just freaked her out. Hannah stood up seeing Mia, giving her a hug. “Hey, I know!” She said, with a very happy smile seeing Mia. She was glad too finally get to see her. Hannah had really missed talking to her and stuff. And with everything going on she needed to get out of the house and just have fun for once. Considering she spent more time being an adult than a kid. Which she still was. Hannah shrugged not really caring where they went it didn’t matter to her. “It doesn’t matter.” She said grinning. “Where ever you would like to go.” She told her. Hannah could really just go anywhere at this point, plus she was bad at making decisions. Go figure?
Rembering what had happen the last time Mia and her went out for some fun, I guess you could say. That wasn’t very plesent night. But hey… she wasn’t going to dewell on that one night. This time she doubted very much that anything was going to happen. And if it did then so be it. Hannah really didn’t care about much at the point with her dad gone and her mother not giving a shit about her. Hell her mother could probably careless if she lived or died. Either way, Mia as pretty much the only friend she really had. Even if she didn’t get a chance to see her that much.
“You can choose.” She said smiling. occ;sorrry this is crap i can redo it if you want?
